What is this video about?
This video was all about being safe online. Some of the points were
- Keeping your passwords to yourself
- Free offers online are never free (read terms and conditions)
- Don’t let games get addictive
- Don’t send pictures of yourself to people you don’t know.
What is the purpose of this video?
The purpose of this video was to teach people about online safety. They demonstrated what would happen when things got too much and how to fix them. These stories happen every day and kids don’t see the danger online.
What I thought of the video
I thought the video had a good message but the acting was a bit dodgy. As I watched the video more I realised the importance of it. I related to the characters and some of their problems but I mostly related to the person who doesn’t read the terms and conditions. I now know that free offers are never free.
Being safe online is an important thing and this video helps explain it.
Netiquette Rules
Netiquette rules are the informal rules that we use online. We need to follow these rules so that it avoids bad things happening.
These are a few rules that I will follow on my blog.
